Thank you for Participating in the 7th Asia & Oceania Conference on Photobiology

Photobiology is the study of the effect of light on living organisms. The field necessarily encompasses a broad range of topics, which you can read about from the colourful scientific program listed below. The Asia and Oceania Society for Photobiology (AOSP) covers the Asia and Oceania region.   We would like to welcome you to attending the 7th Asia & Oceania Conference on Photobiology (AOCP) in Taipei, Taiwan. Thank you for coming to the meeting and sharing your work with us. Without your participation and contributions the congress would not be possible. We thank the local organising committee for all their work putting into organising the scientific sessions, and social activities. Due to their hard work, we have an exciting program to look forward to. This will be the very first time the AOCP has been held in Taiwan. Previous meetings have been held in Japan, Korea, China, India and Australia. Finally, we would like to acknowledge all of the people who have served as advisors to us and all sponsors who support the conference financially.

Welcome to the conference and to Taipei. We hope that you will find your time here enjoyable and a source of many insights that will help to advance the collective understanding of photobiology and to encourage the collaborations, scientific exchange, and the development of joint interests and projects that are of scientific and economic importance in the discipline of sunlight effects on living organisms (Photobiology).
